Nice Evercase that is very small. It will work great with mATX motherboards. It is very sturdy and will fit great in most tight spaces. Good buy from eWiz. |

I was so excited and and then so disappointed 2007-03-02 17:10:07 Reviewed by Dameon Black from Round Rock, TX US

When I heard that knock at the door I was very excited. I've maxed out all 4 of my SATA internal ports and have been waiting for this for a while now. I get it out of the box, hook it up, turn it on and... and... and... hmm, my mouse won't move for 30 some odd seconds. Ok ok, maybe this is how it works. Nope, look around in my settings and no hard drive could be found. I configure and configure and still nothing. Then I switch over to USB and bam, everything works just fine.
Well, that's ok but I don't want USB, I want eSATA like it says on the box. I'm getting ready to RMA.
So, I hit the internet. Turns out many have the same problem.
The answer:
All of you who want to get 3,0Gbit/s speed, you can't. The long cable or chipset used by Vantec or something else causes the 300gbit/s hard drives to not even be detected. So the max speed you can get with this enclosure is 1.5Gb/s.
Thanks |

Sleek Style, Great Performance 2006-09-06 06:46:12 Reviewed by Westihockey09 from Rocky Hill, CT US

This is a great hardrive enclosure. It has a sleek look to it and will look good no matter if it is in your home or at your office. The best thing about this enclosure however is the ability it has to protect the most up to date hardrives with no modifications. Hats of to Vantec, they have created a very nice product. |

Better Customization 2006-10-17 05:31:33 Reviewed by Anonymous from Sikeston, MO US

A 3 pin fan can be controlled by the motherboard for better cooling. This extension enables your fan to be installed anywhere in the case. The length will enable many more options. Relocate fans and still have the motherboard control them. Very innexpensive. |

Longer reach for any 3 pin 2006-08-31 15:56:56 Reviewed by Spike from Mannford, OK US

The 3 pins are used for case fans and CPU coolers. If you cannot reach the cooler in thefront of your case, this cable extends your reach enabling cooling. Most PSU's have long enough cables... |

Necessary if your PSU doesn't have the plug for the P4 processor. More power is needed, so the processor requires power through this channel. Cable enables the connection where the power supply may be limited. |

This is a handy little cable for powering a 3pin fan when only 4 pin connectors are available. Nice length, if you have a big case and the fan is being run in the front of the case, this will reach. Very handy and great price. |

This is a very useful product for hooking up your fans. Often times there are not enough fan headers on the motherboard, and this allows you to connect your fans directly to the PS. |

I have tried nearly all of the cooling products out for hard drives. I have used this fan, which does a good job. I like the ones that blow directly on the drive versus blowing right by.
These collect a lot of dust, so you will need to clean regularly. This indicates good airflow to me. |

Two fans to cool your drives for a very cheap price. Yeah, the fans don't push a lot of air but even the little they do is more cooling than what your hard drive is currently getting. |

I used a set of these on my hard drive. Keeps is cooler and drive runs fast and in conditions. Fans are 50mm which are small, but seem to do a good job.
I will definately buy for my next install. |

Hot air built up in your case can lead to system instability. This cheap PCI slot card effectively pulls the hot air from inside your case and expells it ouside where it can do no harm. |
