| The Good:
Nice case, easy to work with
light weight and nice design |
| The Squirrelly:
fans are loud and their LEDs are BRIGHT, a few sharp edges inside, use caution installing the DVD drive |
| Pro Tip:
Replace the fans with quieter ones otherwise it is a really noisy experience |

Great case 2006-10-13 16:13:44 Reviewed by Wesley Cain from Ottumwa, IA US

I recieved my case yesterday and immediately gutted my old case and put all the components in this one. Lots of room for my hard drives and installing everything was a breeze. I figured all the fans in this thing was going to cause this to be a very loud case but it is actually very quiet.
And to all the other posters, this case does have a large 120mm fan in the very front berhind the grill so it comes with 40 fans total and there is still one fan cage that I have not filled which is used to cool the drives.
Great case... thanks eWiz!!! |

Awesome for gaming 2006-10-12 12:54:14 Reviewed by Lizard from Denver, CO US

The Smilodon is an excellent case. I love the front grill. Internally, it uses the old style with 80mm fans for cooling. I was impressed by the side mounted fan that blows directly onto the processor / video card area. Cool front blue lighting and back lit fans. For the money, it is an excellent option. Would like to have seen 120mm fans for more airflow and a bit quieter, but given the state it is, I rate it a 4.5 out of 5. |

This is a cool looking case. The front mesh will help keep things cool. If it had a big 120mm fan on the back it woudl rule.
80's front and back, could be better, but looks great. Love the blue fans. Nice addition. |

This is a very nice case. I have one that I ordered for a customer who never paid for it and I ended up with it. I like the rugged construction and the nice sized 500 watt power supply.
Behind the ugly door is a nice wall of mesh that to me looks better than the door.
Great case, has the old 80mm fans in use, but several are used.
Not a bad case if you like the looks. |

Case arrived at my house on time and packaging was excellent. The case itself really impressed me in both quality and looks. Currently the case is 45 dollars and would be the case I recommend to anyone building their own rig. |

If your looking for a cheap case that has good cooling this might be it. It has a big 120mm fan for exhausting on the back. (Awesome) A 80mm fan on the front for fresh air (Decent)
Very affordable case that has aluminum areas. Good weight and a great option. Best deal is the price. |

| The Good:
It would be okay if it weren't broken on arrival. |
| The Squirrelly:
It came with a defective start button. I had to do some Jerry-rigging to get a start button on my new computer. Didn't want to wait like a year to get a new case, and thus be without a computer, so I went with it. Probably an unusual occurrence, but a disappointment nonetheless. |

Some aluminum on this case. The external appearance is decent, but a standard styling often used. The cooling is good with an 80 up front and a 120 out back. Not bad, no window, so it will work for any application. Very reasonable price. |

This fan only does the necessary job of keeping your video card cool. If you're looking for an upgrade so that you can overclock your video card, this one won't do the job well, unless your video card never had a heatsink. |
