I overclocked mine to 3.8 stable but with 1.5 voltage, which is still within tolerances. But why cause a premature demise to such a good CPU, so I run it at 3.5 with auto voltage. You need a good aftermarket cooler to even consider overclocking this high. |

I got mine up and running all 4 cores 100% stable at 3.6ghz and 1.3875 volts. I bought the Asrock M3A790GXH/128M combo for $244 and couldnt be more pleased. I couldnt be happier with doing business here. I never ordered from ewiz before. I really thick superbiz has great deals but their site is hard to navigate and not well known. But i am ver very pleased with their service. over 9000 stars |

What an amazing processor from AMD! It runs circles around any of the Athlon 64x2 and exceeds the first Phenom's on a core-to-core comparison, all while running much cooler than either series. Overclocking is a dream, with so much headroom, matching Intel C2D quads in real-world apps and gaming for a nicer price. If you're lucky, your dormant fourth core may also unlock (set ACC to 'Auto' on 790/SB750 mobo's) and actually be stable, but don't count on this. Don't forget to pick up another (continued...) |
