Backward compatible with am2+ mb,
No problems with installation or boot up,
Disabled AMD cool and quiet option in Bios
upgraded from AMD Athlon X2 Dual-Core 5000+
upgraded bios before installing.
Running great.

While AMD products are not faster then Intel, they are better considering the price and the applications available for either brand. I was hoping that I could get over 4.0, but 3.9 is about the best you can do an air for any phenonII chip, which is still a nice overclock. Don't waste your money on a 3.4-965, as that will not get over 4.0 either. |
