The new drives are multi-level cell (MLC) solid state drives (SSDs) that are 100% interchangeable with hard disk drives (HDDs) in notebooks and desktop PCs, with the added benefit of being much faster, lighter, durable, and energy efficient than the typical notebook HDD.
