eWiz Makes a Debut Appearance at Showdown Lanfest in San Jose

SAN JOSE, Calif. - eWiz will be making its first public appearance at the Showdown LAN fest in San Jose on June 16th, 2007 – June 17th, 2007. The online PC hardware and software retailer will be giving away over $5,000 worth of prizes to attendees.

“This is the first time that eWiz has ever gone out and interacted with customers offline and we’re extremely excited about that. It’s important for us to be visible to our customers. Because we’re an e-tailer, we often don’t have the opportunity to show our customers who we are the way a typical retailer can. In this way, we’re making sure that our customers can feel more connected to us,” said Cindy Tsan, Marketing Coordinator.

Prizes will include CPUs, motherboards, video cards, cases, and more. The company will host a raffle for their biggest giveaways.

“What we really want is just to have fun with our customers over the weekend. We’ll be participating in all the events at the Showdown, our employees will be gaming with them, and that’s not something people usually get to do with an eCommerce company,” said Tsan.
